My humans follow you on Twitter and perhaps I could get them to set up a Twitter account for me. I am very busy at the moment as I have this kitten called Mixture to deal with. He is an absolute menace. My humans tell me he will get better, but I don't believe them. He goes in and out of the cat flap now - and in and out it certainly is. He never stops. My humans think we shall soon have to get a new cat flap. Anyway at least it gets rid of him into the garden for awhile. I have been very busy catching mice for my humans and for Mixture to play with. I have caught 17 this year. My humans are very impressed. So you see I haven't got much time for reading and commenting on blogs, but I think I can manage Twitter. See you there. I wish I could say the same. The horror never ends. Not only have I got the small stripey thing to contend with but on the Wednesday before Chistmas the entire tribe descended upon us - and is still here. There was one small good thing and that was that my beloved James was here. He even had to sleep in the basement. He has gone now so we are left with the rest. The small boy human is now 5 and probably one could get used to him but the small girl human is 2 and a bit and runs everywhere and together they are very noisy. In fact there are just far too many people in the house. It would not be so bad if I could escape from the small stripey thing but he gets everywhere. The really strange thing is that my humans seem to enjoy it all. Christmas Day was absolute chaos and I kept out of the way. They even had an extra human here to add to the 'fun'. The small sripey one (who is called Mixture after the organ stop) has been doing a very thorough job on the Christmas tree and there is not much left at the bottom. To add to the fun it seems that the small female human has now got something called 'chicken pox' but it doesn't seem to have made much difference to the speed she rushes about. It's really good because I don't need to worry about hurting my neck when I take Maggie for a walk! Now I am a musical cat and something of an organist so I know what a Mixture is. It is a squeaky stop on the organ! I am having a really rough time - and the weather is pretty grim as well. As you have advised Max, he did a very similar thing, and would walk around the corner of the house before lying on the pavement and refusing to get up. It made no difference whether he needed to go out or not - the only direction he would get up and move in was home! Good luck Maggie!!!
